Rules and Regulations
Swimming Pool Areas
- Item 12a. All homeowners in good standing as defined in the Bylaws and NJ Administrative Code must be current with dues, assessments, or liens and their guests must show their pool badges upon entering the pool area to the pool monitor. Badges must not be worn in the pool. Homeowners may use their homeowners badge and/or their pool pass badge from 2023.
- Item 12b. A homeowner must accompany all guests. If the homeowner is disabled, their badge must be shown at the gate along with the guest badge; This includes caregivers of the disabled. If the caregiver goes into the pool, their name will be recorded in the logbook by the gate monitor, and a guest pass will be presented or purchased.
- Item 12c. Homeowners may purchase up to 6 guest passes per household. All guests must be accompanied by the homeowner and or the registered occupant associated with the address of the homeowner.
- Item 12d. There is absolutely no saving of tables, chairs or lounge chairs.
- Item 12e. Guest badges should be used by guests only when visiting the homeowner.
- Item 12f. Guest badges are only to be sold to Silver Ridge Park Westerly homeowners in good standing, Not residents of neighboring communities.
- Item 12g. Guests under 16 years of age are permitted to use the pool from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM* They must be accompanied by an adult responsible for their safety and conduct. There will be no charge for children under the age of 16 to attend the pool.
*Amendment Additional Time: For Children under 16- June-July-August, Saturday 6PM to 8PM. Trial Basis alternating Fridays 6PM-8PM starting on June 7th, 2024 (June-July-August). If an event is scheduled unfortunately they will not be allowed to be at the pool on that night. Also, the board of trustees can cancel a Friday night due to unforeseen circumstances and/or at any time.
- Item 12h. Children under three years of age are not permitted in the pool area. Children must be toilet trained to use the pool. Children wearing diapers, including swim diapers, cannot use the pool anytime.
- Item 12i. Adult personal incontinent products are not permitted in the pool at any time.
- Item 12j. Homeowners and guests shall use the shower facility before entering the pool.
- Item 12l. Individuals with signs or symptoms of infectious or contagious disease, cold, nasal discharge, cuts, bandages, skin eruptions, or other infections are prohibited from using the pool.
- Item 12m. It is suggested that hair longer than shoulder length be tied as a ponytail. This is a safety precaution for the individual and protects the pool filters.
- Item 12n. Snack foods such as crackers, chips, pretzels, cookies, light snacks, etc., are permitted at the poolside. Alcoholic beverages and non-glass containers are NOT permitted in the pool area. All other food must be consumed at the tables under the pergola. The area must be cleaned up after use. Association parties may have food/drinks approved for the function.
- Item 12o. Running or rough and rowdy playing is not permitted in the pool area. Rafts, toy surfboards, swim toys, balls*, etc., are prohibited in the pool area. Arm floats, noodles, noodle chairs and belts are allowed.
*Amendment Beach Ball: A beach ball can be used for tossing around and/or volley-ball by adults as long as the pool is not crowded and if anyone is in the pool is asked first.
- Item 12p. The homeowner's association will no longer provide pool noodles and belts. You are permitted to bring your personal pool noodle, flotation belt or noodle chair.
- Item 12q. No animals are permitted on the pool property.
- Item 12r. Wet bathing suits are not permitted in the clubhouse/kitchen. Please use footwear for entering the restrooms.
- Item 12s. Diving of any kind is not permitted.
- Item 12t. The pool committee members, designated pool monitors, and the board of trustees are the final authority on questions or interpretation of the listed regulations. This includes questions concerning decorum conduct and admissions.
- Item 12u. No alcoholic beverages or marijuana derivative products are permitted in the pool or pool area. Exceptions may apply to parties with the approval of the board of trustees and must be consumed under the pergola area. Anyone consuming alcoholic beverages at an approved event is prohibited from using the pool.
- Item 12v. Smoking and vaping are permitted only outside of the pool area in the designated smoking area.
- Item 12w. The use of foul language in and around the pool area will not be tolerated, and the homeowner and or guests will be asked to leave the pool area.
- Item 12x. The current pool pass fees for the 2024 pool season are as follows:
A daily pass is $5.00 per person
2024 Season Pass $15.00
- Item 12y. Failure to abide by the above rules may result in the forfeiture of your pool access for a period of time, to be determined by the Board of Trustees.
- Item 12z. Pool hours are from 10:00AM – 8:00PM. The pool is open at 9:00AM for those homeowners who wish to do morning laps. Must have a second person there. There is no swimming after 8:00PM, unless of an approved function by the board of trustees.
